Use Wirelessly
Turn on the Eon by sliding the power switch to the middle position. If this is your first time using the headphones, they will enter PAIRING mode automatically once turned on. If not, slide the power switch to the Bluetooth icon and hold it there for 2 seconds until the LED flashes RED & BLUE.
Next, activate Bluetooth on your PC / laptop. Search for and select “Avantree Eon” in the Bluetooth menu. The headphones will connect to the PC, and you’ll hear a “Connected” voice prompt from the headphones.
Note: If you are having trouble connecting the Eon to your PC via Bluetooth, consider getting a USB Bluetooth adapter like the DG80 or C81. They’re plug-and-play with no driver installation required, making connection a breeze.
Access your PC’s audio settings and set “Avantree Eon” as the default Input and Output device.
If you’re using the headphones with an audio app (Discord, Teams, Zoom, etc.) you may need to repeat this step within these individual apps as well.
Use Wired
Turn the headphones OFF by sliding the power switch to the power icon. If you don’t need to use the boom mic, simply plug in the included 3.5mm AUX audio cable into the headphones and connect it to your PC’s AUX port.
If you need the mic, first plug in the detachable boom mic into the headphones. Then, plug in the 3.5mm AUX audio cable into the back of the mic, and from there to your PC’s AUX port.
NOTE: When in wired mode, the ANC function is disabled and none of the buttons on the headphones will work. The Mute switch on the boom mic will still work.
Please note that in wired mode, the Eon should show up as “External Headphones” and “External Microphone” in your computer’s sound settings, not as “Avantree Eon”.
