Not all hearing aids are compatible with Bluetooth transmitters. Please check:
- Can your hearing aids enter Bluetooth pairing mode? (The most common indicator is the LED flashing RED & BLUE. Check your user manual if you're not sure).
- If YES, then your hearing aids most likely work with Avantree Bluetooth transmitters! If NO... probably not.
- For reference, when connecting your hearing aids with your smartphone, if you need to use an APP or the phone's accessibility menu to connect, then it's most likely NOT possible to connect the hearing aids with a Bluetooth transmitter.
- To confirm, you can ask your hearing aids company this: "Will my hearing aids work with other brands' Bluetooth transmitters?".
If your hearing aids cannot pair up with our Bluetooth transmitters directly, an alternative solution is to wear a pair of wireless over-the-ear headphones over your hearing aids. Watch this video for good options: What Headphones are Good for Hearing Aids? How to Choose?
