Part 2. Use with a Phone/Tablet

Use Wirelessly

Turn on the Eon by sliding the power switch to the middle position. If this is your first time using the headphones, they will enter PAIRING mode automatically once turned on. If not, slide the power switch to the Bluetooth icon and hold it there for 2 seconds until the LED flashes RED & BLUE.

Next, activate Bluetooth on your smartphone / tablet. Search for and select “Avantree Eon” in the Bluetooth menu. The headphones will connect to the device, and you’ll hear a “Connected” voice prompt from the headphones.

The Avantree Eon should automatically reconnect to its last paired device once turned on. If it doesn’t, quickly slide and release the power switch to the Bluetooth icon.

Use Wired

If your phone / tablet has a 3.5mm AUX port, simply plug the AUX 3.5mm audio cable into both the headphones and your device.
If you’d like to make calls, plug the detachable boom mic into the headphones first, then plug the 3.5mm AUX audio cable into the back of the mic. Plug the other end of the cable into your device.

Make sure that you’re using a 3.5mm cable with 4 pins (3 black stripes). The included L-shaped AUX cable will suffice.
