If your device frequently announces "connected" followed by "power off," this may be caused by a loose battery connection and the behavior of the built-in motion sensor.
Solution for Loose Battery Connection:
- Power Off the Device: Ensure the device is completely turned off before proceeding.
- Inspect the Battery Compartment: Open the battery compartment to check the placement and condition of the battery. Ensure the battery is securely fitted and that the contacts are clean.
- Secure the Battery: If the battery appears loose, try securing it with a small piece of foam or tape. If the battery is worn out, consider replacing it.
Note on Motion Sensor: The device includes a motion sensor designed to conserve battery by powering off when no movement is detected. To avoid wasting battery, park in a place where no motion is detected while not using the device, or switch it off manually.
If your Roadtrip does not automatically reconnect to your phone, pls try to Factory Reset the Roadtrip and then pair them again.
