Have you ever had others on the call complain about the sound quality of your microphone? Try these troubleshooting tips to fix the issue.
Please make sure that you close all other similar apps on your device that might be using your microphone, like Face Time, Zoom, Teams, Discord, etc. Make sure that they are completely CLOSED. Do not use more than one audio or meeting app at the same time. Your system might get confused and lower the microphone quality.
Please use one meeting app, only one.
If others can’t hear you at all, your mic may be muted. Check the mute/unmute button on the in-line remote and make sure that the mic isn’t muted. Similarly, check your meeting software and make sure that you aren’t muted.
Another thing to check is whether the boom mic is plugged in properly. The boom mic cable needs to be plugged in a particular way in order to work. Please try unplugging the boom mic cable, and then plugging it back in.
