Have you ever had others on a call complain about the sound quality of your microphone when using your computer? Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix the issue.
Firstly, connect your headset and make a call in a quiet place to see how the call quality is. If it is very poor, then the problem is likely the headset and we can replace it for you. If the quality is good, then the headset is not the issue and it is likely a computer setting problem. Please follow the steps below.
Secondly, please set the sound input and output in settings to Avantree device, as shown in the picture below. Also make the same setting in apps like Teams or Zoom. This can avoid the system mistakenly using the computer's built-in microphone (if applicable).
Thirdly, please use only one meeting app at a time. Ensure that you close all other similar apps on your device that might be using your microphone, like FaceTime, Zoom, Teams, Discord, etc. Ensure that they are completely CLOSED.
